About Th’YARC

Th’YARC (The Yarmouth Arts Regional Council) Playhouse and Arts Centre is the largest multi-function performance centre in Southwestern Nova Scotia. Th’YARC presents both professional and amateur productions, including dramas, comedies, and musicals. With a mandate to educate, entertain, and promote both the performing and visual arts in Southwestern Nova Scotia, the centre consists of a 325-soft seat theatre with fly tower, an art gallery, an artist studio, an etching studio, and a costume studio. It operates year-round with a staff of two and approximately 300 volunteers.

Th’YARC is available for many events, including weddings, fundraisers, meetings, and seminars, at reasonable rates. For more information, contact our Executive Director, Judy Snow at (902) 742-8150.
